DAMSELFLIES & DRAGONFIES

Species found during a nature walk on the Cedar Grove Trail, 12 June 2005, 10 a.m. to noon.

BUTTERFLIES

ALSO: MINK FROG - scarce in Ottawa, frequent but localized within Marlborough Forest... We saw one at the dam and heard a thriving population calling in Roger's Pond today!! This is a northern species which coexists along side the more ubiquitous Northern Leopard Frog.

Bottom line... LOVED THE PLACE & HAD A GREAT TIME!
