12 June 2005, 10 a.m. to noon.
- Ebony Jewelwing (1 female in the woods near the parking lot - an unusual location
for a "stream" species)
- Aurora Damsel (several males and females in the above
location - also an unusual location for this scarce & local species)

ALSO: MINK FROG - scarce in Ottawa, frequent but localized within Marlborough
Forest... We saw one at the dam and heard a thriving population calling in Roger's
Pond today!! This is a northern species which coexists along side the more ubiquitous
Northern Leopard Frog.
Bottom line... LOVED THE PLACE & HAD A GREAT TIME!
