Ducks Unlimited Agreement

Historical Sites Identification
North Gower library has archives for Marlborough Forest. Need to research history of some of the buildings and uses of the forest.

Vandalism/Illegal Dumping (fire access roads only)

Wildlife Fields
Identified in the management plan; these are mowing annually to provide browse for deer and other animals. Residents approve as this keeps deer out of farm fields.

Trail Maintenance - NOT FUNDED IN 2005
Litter pickup
Remove fallen trees from trails

Spring Cleanup 2005/06 - NOT FUNDED IN 2005
Urgently needed as this annual event did not occur in 2004 as city cannot fund dumpster to hold garbage removed from forest by volunteers
Rideau Snowmobile club willing to provide $3000 in equipment and labour, but dumpster is needed

Winter Snow and Ice Control - NOT FUNDED IN 2005
Plowing costs about $1000 for a season
